Everything your ARK server includes

ARK: Survival Evolved and Survival Ascended — your choice.

Cross-map clusters: travel with your dinos and inventory.

Steam Workshop mods installed and updated automatically.

All official maps included (The Island, Ragnarok, Aberration…).

Settings editor: XP, taming, harvest and breeding rates.

How many resources does ARK need?

A guideline based on what you plan to run. If you're between two, take the larger one: upgrading later is instant and you only pay the difference.

What actually drives usage in ARK

ARK is one of the most memory-hungry games out there: every tamed dino, structure and item in a chest stays in the saved world and loads into RAM. Usage grows with server lifetime, not with connected players. ARK: Survival Ascended needs roughly one tier more than Survival Evolved.

Common ARK problems and how to fix them

1The server takes forever to start

That's expected: ARK loads the entire world into memory. With heavy mods the first boot can take several minutes. If it exceeds 15, check no mod is failing its Workshop download.

2Dinos or structures lost after a restart

The save didn't complete before shutdown. Schedule restarts with prior warning so the server saves cleanly, and keep automatic backups enabled so you can restore.

3Mods don't update on their own

The server downloads mods at startup. If a mod updated while the server was running, it needs a restart. When a mod breaks startup, remove its ID from the list and boot without it to isolate the issue.

ARK frequently asked questions

How much RAM does an ARK server need?

ARK is demanding: 8 GB is the sensible minimum for one map and few players. With mods or 40 players, go 12-16 GB. ARK: Survival Ascended uses even more, so add a tier.

Can I build a cluster with several maps?

Yes. You can link several servers into a cluster so players travel between maps with their dinos, characters and items. Open a ticket and we'll help you set it up.

How do I install Workshop mods?

Paste the Steam Workshop mod ID into the panel and it downloads and installs itself, updating on each restart. You can also manage them over FTP.

Can I change taming and XP rates?

Yes, every multiplier (XP, taming, harvesting, breeding, weight) is editable from the panel without touching files, applied on restart.
