About us

Gamers building servers for gamers

ElectrumHosting was born from a problem we lived through ourselves: paying for servers that lagged, went down mid-event and had support that took days to reply. So we built what we wished we'd found.

How we started

We started as players, not as a company. We ran FiveM and Minecraft servers for our own community and kept hitting the same wall: hosts that promised the world, hardware oversold into the ground, and tickets answered three days later with a copy-pasted template.

So we did the obvious thing: rented good hardware, configured it the way we wished ours had been, and opened the doors to other communities. No overselling, AntiDDoS included as standard instead of as an upsell, and support that actually replies — from people who know what it's like to lose your server at 11pm on a Saturday.

We're still a small team today, and that's on purpose: it lets us know our customers by name, migrate servers by hand when needed and answer in minutes rather than days. We'd rather grow slowly and well than fast and badly.

Our journey

The milestones that got us here, from the first server to today's network.

  1. Ene 2026

    ElectrumHosting is born

We started in January 2026 with a simple idea: build the hosting we would have wanted to find ourselves as players. First node, first customers, and one decision from day one: include AntiDDoS as standard instead of selling it as an add-on.

  2. 2026

    Our own infrastructure in Madrid

We bet on Spain as our base: minimal latency for Spanish players, AMD Ryzen with NVMe and a network built for the UDP game traffic that suffers most under attack.

  3. 2026

    Going international: Germany and Miami

Our communities start growing beyond Spain, so we open Mainhausen (Germany) for central Europe and Miami for Latin America and the Caribbean, with optimised routes on both sides of the Atlantic.

  4. 2026

    Miami-02 expansion

Demand leaves us out of stock in nearly every location. We invest in a second Miami node to restore instant deployment without lowering our quality bar.

  5. 2026

    Madrid-02 expansion and 4x storage

We expand Madrid with a second node built on different hardware and install two latest-generation Samsung drives. With that we quadrupled the storage on every plan: by far the most requested change from our customers, who were running short on space.

  6. 2026

New platform: website, panel, game servers and AI-assisted support

    Now

We rebuilt the website and client panel from scratch, moved the client area to my.electrumhosting.com and started rolling out game servers with a dedicated panel, so you do not need Linux skills to run your own server. We also added an AI support assistant that answers common questions instantly, with a human stepping in whenever a case needs judgement.

How we work

No small print

AntiDDoS is included, the specs we advertise are the ones you get, and our real uptime is published on our status page.

Hardware, not promises

AMD Ryzen and Intel Core i9, NVMe Gen4 and DDR4/DDR5. No overselling: when a node fills up, we close it until we expand.

Support that answers

Real people, average reply under 5 minutes. We migrate your server for free if you're coming from another host.

Community first

Free tools, calculators and guides open to everyone, customer or not. If they help you launch your server, they've done their job.

Our infrastructure

Servers in Madrid, Mainhausen and Miami, with always-on AntiDDoS L3/L4/L7, NVMe storage and up to 10 Gbps networking. You can check the exact hardware per location and our live uptime.

Talk to us

We're reachable: message us on Discord, open a ticket from the panel or send us an email. Humans reply, not bots.

Shall we build your server?

Pick your game and deploy in minutes, or grab a VPS with root access if you'd rather set it up your own way.
