What actually drives usage in 7 Days to Die

In 7 Days to Die usage grows with explored world and simultaneous zombies. Blood moon nights are the real peak: the server spawns and simulates far more enemies at once, so size for that moment rather than for a normal day.

Common 7 Days to Die problems and how to fix them

1The server chokes on blood moon nights

That's the game's load peak. Lower `MaxSpawnedZombies` and `BloodMoonEnemyCount` in serverconfig.xml, or move up a tier if you want to keep the difficulty.

2Players can't connect after installing a mod

Overhauls require the client to have exactly the same mod and version. Publish the specific download link to your community.

3The world corrupts or progress is lost

This happens when the server closes without saving. Schedule clean restarts and keep backups active, especially before each blood moon.
