A guideline based on what you plan to run. If you're between two, take the larger one: upgrading later is instant and you only pay the difference.
| Scale | RAM | vCores | Good for |
|---|---|---|---|
| Up to 10 players | 2 GB | 2 | Vanilla or Paper with few plugins |
| 10-25 players | 4 GB | 2 | Paper with plugins or a light modpack |
| 25-60 players | 8 GB | 4 | Medium modpacks or several loaded worlds |
| 60+ players | 16 GB | 6 | Large modpacks (RLCraft, ATM) or a public server |
In Minecraft the resource that matters is RAM, but not because of player count: what drives it is the number of loaded chunks, the render distance and mods. A Paper server with 60 players at view-distance 8 uses less than a 10-player server running a heavy modpack at view-distance 16.

It's almost always render distance or a runaway entity (mob farms, hopper chains). Drop `view-distance` to 8 and `simulation-distance` to 6 in server.properties, and use /tps or Spark to find which chunk is loading the CPU.
The previous process didn't shut down cleanly. Stop the service from the panel, wait a few seconds and start it again. If it persists, check you don't have two instances on the same port.
Java and Bedrock use different protocols and ports. You need GeyserMC + Floodgate on Paper, and port 19132 UDP open as well for crossplay to work.
Step by step and written by our team: from installation to the most common problems.
For vanilla or Paper with up to 10 friends, 2 GB is plenty. With plugins and 25-40 players, go for 4 GB. Medium modpacks or 60 players need 8 GB. For big modpacks like RLCraft or busy public servers, pick 16 GB.
Yes. The panel includes CurseForge and Modrinth installers, and you can upload any .jar over FTP. We support Paper, Spigot, Purpur, Fabric, Forge and NeoForge.
We don't impose artificial slot limits. The real cap depends on your RAM and mods: a Paper server with 8 GB comfortably handles 60-80 players.
Yes. You can deploy a Bedrock server directly, or run Paper with GeyserMC and Floodgate so Java and Bedrock players share the same world.
Yes, and we help for free. Upload your world folder and plugins over FTP, or open a ticket and we'll migrate everything for you with no data loss.
