You can cancel any service yourself from the panel, without writing to us. First, take your data off it: when the server is deleted, everything on it goes too and cannot be recovered.
How to cancel
- At my.electrumhosting.com, go to Services and open the one you want to cancel.
- Click Cancel.
- Choose the type of cancellation, write the reason (it helps us improve) and confirm.
The two types of cancellation

Cancelling at the end of the period is almost always the best choice: you do not lose the days you already paid for and you have time to take your files off calmly.
Before cancelling
- Back up whatever you want to keep (worlds, databases, configs) and download it to your PC. See backups and transferring files.
- If a domain points at the server, change or delete that record.
- If it is too big or too small, maybe you do not need to cancel: you can change plan or billing cycle.
What if I change my mind?
If you asked to cancel at the end of the period and want to keep it, message us by ticket before it falls due and we will look into it. An immediate cancellation cannot be undone, because the server has already been deleted.
